Great food!! I remember when they 1st came to the area and the food is always good. I have another favorite place I go to that is not in the area. But this food is great and close to home and I love it. Today I asked for light gravy on the egg foo young and it was light gravy as requested the the egg foo young was soooo tasty without all of that gravy! Keep up the good work and so glad you have lasted because I have seen many new restaurant come and go within a year or 2 in Forest Park.
One of my favorite local chinese cuisine restaurants around Forest/oak park. Expect your meal to be ready soon because the chef is on the quicks. Probably the best fried rice around and in town. I love their lunch specials. Great prices and friendly service. Definitely a must try in Forest Park.
Main cashier is always super nice and food is always fresh and delicious. Most bad reviews are coming from people who don't know how to order. That's why menus are a thing. I recommend to anybody who loves Chinese food
Order their orange chicken every time i go, and it is definitely worth the price. It is delicious, and you get a very large portion. I go here whenever I want Chinese and I have always had a good experience.
I ordered their Beef and Broccoli on many occasions until I moved away. Delicious every time. Same kid took my order each time I visit the establishment. Very well mannered.
Great place for take out
From out of town and was looking for a good place to eat. I stumbled across the Happy Chef and here i am again. Food was fresh and the 15 minutes I had to wait was worth it. Will continue eating here next time I am in the Chicago area. Suggest you give them a chance.
Wonderful food and service. I won't order Chinese take out from anywhere else! Food is always ready quickly and reasonably priced. Hope they continue to serve the Forest Park area for years to come.
